Spring 2020 Chair’s Message

Congratulations Class of 2020!

You have successfully navigated an already rigorous academic program further complicated by a semester of rapid and sweeping change. Your success is worthy of acknowledgement, and I look forward to welcoming you all back to campus at a future date to recognize your accomplishments at our rescheduled commencement ceremony.

In the meantime, the Department of Computer Science wants to celebrate your achievements with an online yearbook and the celebratory video above. I hope you will use this site to share memories, connect with friends, and appreciate the journey you’ve undertaken at UNC.

Please use the link at the top of the page to submit your yearbook information and claim your page. After you have submitted the form, your personal yearbook page will be linked from your name on your corresponding degree page. Once your personal page is active, your classmates can leave comments. Click on a degree page to the left to see all of your fellow graduates’ names, and leave a note on your friends’ pages while you’re here.

When you fill out the form to claim your page, make sure to upload a memory photo for the Class of 2020 Celebration Video, which will be posted here as a tribute to all of your accomplishments.

Congratulations again, and I can’t wait to see many of you again at your commencement ceremony. You may leave Chapel Hill, but you’ll be a Tar Heel for life.
