Favorite UNC CS Memory

My favorite UNC CS memory is going to the Grace Hopper Celebration in Houston, TX during my junior year. I got a chance to meet other CS majors I didn't previously know who gave me great interview and career advice as well as class recommendations. I also interviewed for my internship on this trip and received a full-time offer from the same company.

Parting Message

Given the way our senior year has ended, I'd like to say to be open to the unexpected. Things may not always go the way that we planned whether that's in your personal, professional, or academic life but there's always great lessons to be learned and times to be had. Just focus on yourself, don't compare yourself to others, and make the best of what's around you! Don't be afraid to take classes without your friends and learn new things.
